Job Summary
Custom Software Engineer role focused on SAP FI S/4HANA: design, configure, and enhance SAP FI components (GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking, Tax, Closing); integrate FI with CO, MM, SD, and external systems via standard patterns/APIs; leverage AI copilots for specs, validation, test script generation, documentation, and troubleshooting; ensure SDLC compliance, data accuracy, and governance; collaborate with finance users, functional and technical teams, and cross-module stakeholders; deliver end-to-end delivery across requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare; additional emphasis on AI-assisted productivity and reusable templates and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 year(s) of experience in SAP FI S/4HANA
- 15 years full time education
- Strong understanding of SAP FI S/4HANA processes including: Universal Journal, Financial Closing & Reporting, AP/AR Processing, Asset Accounting, Banking & Cash Management, Taxation and compliance
- Experience integrating FI with CO, MM, and SD
- Hands on experience using AI copilots, LLM based assistants, automated documentation, and AI driven testing tools
- Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate with business and technical teams
