Job Summary
Custom Software Engineer role focusing on SAP FI S/4HANA capabilities with AI-assisted development tooling. Responsibilities include configuring and enhancing SAP FI components (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, Financial Closing), integrating FI with CO/MM/SD, and delivering end-to-end solutions through requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare. Leverage AI copilots for drafting functional specs, validation, test script generation, impact analysis, and documentation; use AI services to improve financial processes, data interpretation, and issue resolution. Ensure SDLC governance, data accuracy, and system performance; collaborate with finance, functional, technical, and cross-module teams; contribute to reusable templates, checklists, and best practices. Desired: experience with SAP Fiori finance apps; cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP); automated testing tools (Tricentis, SAP CBTA); strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP finance solutions; continuous learning mindset. Outcome: faster, reliable SAP FI S/4HANA solutions with AI-enabled productivity; bridge between business, traditional SAP teams, and AI-native teams.
