Job Summary
Custom Software Engineer responsible for developing custom software solutions across systems using modern frameworks and agile practices. Responsibilities include designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process requirements related to device management and exception handling; resolving tickets per contract SLA; supporting users in daily operations; performing enhancements; proposing solutions as part of global templates and recommending architectural or business changes. Requires knowledge of Meter to Cash processes, DMG/AMI configurations, DM/AMI workflows (Scheduling, Meter Reads, Estimations, Validations, Upload, Install/Remove/Exchange, Meter Test, Certifications, Interval Data processing, AMI communications for smart meters), and familiarity with one or more MDM systems. Experience as a testing lead managing a testing team and providing daily test execution reports and defect status. Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required
- Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education
- Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements related to device management and exception module
- Resolving the tickets based on the agreed TAT in contract
- Resolving user issue and support them on daily operational tasks
- Perform the enhancement and changes
- Propose the solution as part of global template and Recommend the architectural or business changes
- Should have sound knowledge on Meter to Cash Process
- Should have good understanding of DMG/AMI configurations
- Understanding of DM/AMI process like Scheduling/Meter Reads/Estimations/Validations/Upload/ Meter Process of Install/Remove/exchange, Meter Test, Certifications, Interval Data processing, AMI communications for smart meters
- Good to have an understanding on one or more MDM systems
- Should have worked as a testing lead managing testing team
- Should be able to provide daily reports on the test execution and progress
- Should be able to provide the defect details and latest status
- Should have the knowledge on Qtest Professional Attributes
- Good Communication Skill
