Job Summary
Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance SAP ABAP-based CMES (Common Manufacturing Execution System) applications. Design and implement SAP FIORI applications to enhance CMES operations. Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and IT to translate requirements into technical solutions. Support integration of CMES with other SAP modules and third-party systems, troubleshoot CMES processes, perform system testing and performance optimization, and provide technical documentation. Stay updated with SAP technologies to improve system performance and user satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on CMES or manufacturing execution systems
- Proficiency in SAP FIORI application development, including SAPUI5, OData services, and Gateway architecture
- Strong understanding of manufacturing execution processes and their integration with SAP systems
- Experience with ABAP programming techniques (ALV, BAPI, BADI, user exits, enhancement spots, Smart Forms/SAP Scripts)
- Experience with system integration technologies (IDOC, RFC, Web Services)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team and independently in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred qualifications: experience with SAP MM, PP, QM modules; S/4HANA; certification in ABAP or FIORI; experience in Aerospace/Defense industry
