Interpret designs, production art, and engineering instructions to fabricate custom signs using tools such as saws, welders, torches, shears, grinders, and sanders. Work with materials including steel, aluminum, plastics, wood, and vinyl to create durable signage, while renovating used cabinets and trimming acrylic letters. Practice quality control to ensure proper functioning, complete production paperwork, document materials for inventory, and maintain equipment daily. Keep updated on industry trends and technology. Operate in a fast-paced production environment with deadlines, lifting 50 pounds daily. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in using fabrication tools and equipment
