Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality security services on a specific shift at an assigned Tech Headquarters customer in Manhattan. Act as a liaison between site supervisors, account managers, and professional security officers while supervising staff, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment ranges. Handle both common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently, preparing written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting. Utilize innovative wireless technology at client-specific sites and operate a vehicle with a valid license and clean driving record. Work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM at a rate of $30/hour.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ Years' Military or Law Enforcement or Criminal Justice Degree
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
- Must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
- Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting
- Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions
- Must possess a valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience
- Must possess a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than one accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months)
- Must have a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy
- Must be able to safely operate a vehicle
- Must successfully complete a background investigation
- Must successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test
- Must be able to pass Drivers Record check
- Must have intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Must be able to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
- Must be able to display exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Must be able to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Must be able to occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
- Must be able to stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
