Job Summary
As the Custom Packaging Designer, you will focus on the technical execution of packaging projects, transforming internal briefs and product specifications into accurate, production-ready designs. Responsibilities include designing packaging for various formats, collaborating with teams and clients, ensuring compliance with print specifications, and managing multiple design projects.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in packaging design, production art, or a related graphic design role.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign – Illustrator is a must)
- Solid understanding of dieline creation, layout standards, and print production processes
- Familiarity with packaging materials and construction, including folding cartons, flexible packaging, and rigid containers
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple design files and projects simultaneously
- Candidates with a Portfolio showcasing packaging design preferred.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with packaging manufacturers or print vendors
- Familiarity with cannabis industry packaging and compliance
