Job Summary
Machinist needed to program, set up and operate CNC mills/lathes and boring mills to produce parts for forestry and off-road equipment. Responsibilities include measuring with micrometers and calipers, loading components with an overhead crane, aligning fixtures, monitoring feed/speed, programming/editing G Codes, and maintaining tooling and machine condition. Must read blueprints/engineering drawings, troubleshoot, ensure tolerances, and support quality standards. Required Qualifications
- 5 years CNC machinist experience
- Conversational programming experience
- Experience correcting G Codes
- Ability to complete set-up and programming
- Good working knowledge of tools, blueprints, and drawings
- Knowledge of production processes and quality standards
- Capability to run Mastercam and Solidworks (preferred)
