Job Summary
Interpret blueprints and shop drawings to fabricate, cut, assemble, and finish millwork products including cabinetry, furniture, molding, and architectural woodwork. Operate woodworking tools and equipment such as saws, planers, routers, and hand tools while ensuring precision in measurements, joinery, and assembly. Collaborate with designers and engineers to solve fabrication challenges and perform on-site installation of custom millwork as needed. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment and inspect completed work for accuracy and quality. This role involves custom laminate counter tops, plastic laminate items, and complex custom woodworking products under varying levels of supervision.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in carpentry, woodworking, or millwork fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical plans
- Skilled in woodworking techniques, joinery, and finishing methods
- Familiarity with a wide range of tools, machinery, and materials used in millwork
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality custom pieces
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
