Job Summary
Custom Automotive Fabricator for a shop focusing on vintage Ford restorations (1950+). Responsibilities include fabricating and assembling framework and suspension components for classic Ford vehicles, performing restoration work, reading fabrication drawings, collaborating with the shop team to meet timelines, and maintaining a clean workspace. Strong hands-on fabrication and automotive restoration experience, with exposure to antique Ford models preferred. Welding experience is a plus but not required; background check and drug test required; must reliably commute to Comfort, TX. Opportunity to assist with other vehicle builds as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Professional fabrication and automotive restoration experience required
- Experience or exposure working on antique Ford vehicles (1950 and newer) strongly preferred
- Welding experience is a plus, but not required
- Painting experience is not required
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check and a drug test
- Ability to commute reliably to Comfort, TX
- Adaptable and willing to assist with other vehicle builds as needed
