Job Summary
Operate commercial sprayers or floaters to apply crop inputs to producer fields at recommended rates. Maintain single or tandem axle trucks for delivery and pickup of agronomy and energy products, including pre-trip inspections, daily safety checks, and preventative maintenance. Blend and load products while ensuring proper axle weights and balanced distribution. Record application data, inventory control, and all associated documentation such as bills of lading and delivery slips daily. Collect soil sample information and complete necessary paperwork including logbooks and cargo records. Adhere to Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT policies. Requires a CDL license with endorsements, valid pesticide applicator certification, and ability to work extended hours and on-call.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent thereof
- 2 years or more of related work experience
