Job Summary
Conduct custom application duties on customer fields using assigned equipment, adhering to Sunrise Cooperative standard operating procedures. Accurately document wind speed, temperature, soil conditions, and GPS sample locations via iPad and dispatching software. Deliver seed, crop protection, and nutrient products using Semi, Strait Truck, or Pickup. Perform regular equipment maintenance, vehicle inspections, and facility repairs while maintaining clean work areas. Ensure outstanding customer service through friendly interactions and solid product knowledge. Adhere to all safety policies and government laws regarding hazardous materials. Maintain flexibility for overtime and after-hours energy emergency or grain train loading duties. Hold Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement and Commercial Applicators License.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation
- Ability to work long varied hours/days as business dictates
- Must obtain or currently hold a Class A CDL with medical card and Hazmat endorsement
- Must obtain or currently hold Commercial Applicators License with necessary categories
- Have flexibility for required overtime hours above the normal eight-hour day during all busy times
- Evidence of work authorization upon employment
- Completion of USCIS form I-9
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen
