Job Summary
Operate commercial sprayers and trucks to apply crop inputs and deliver agronomy products to producer fields. Blend materials, set up equipment, and perform daily safety checks including pre-trip inspections of fuel, tires, and brakes. Record application data, manage inventory, and ensure proper axle weights and product distribution. Schedule and maintain vehicles, keeping service records to meet DOT requirements. Adhere strictly to EHS, OSHA, and DOT policies while handling loads safely. Requires a CDL with Hazmat and tanker endorsements, valid medical card, and pesticide applicator license. Salary ranges from $18-$26.10 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent thereof
- 2 or more years of related work experience
- Ability to obtain an acceptable valid CDL with Hazmat and tanker endorsements and valid DOT medical card
- All required pesticide or fertilizer applicator licenses or certifications in states where crop production inputs are applied
- Acceptable and job-related background check
- Drug test
- Motor vehicle report
- Reference check
