Job Summary
Custody Support Tech Lead (Vice President) leads a team powering Citi’s Digital Asset Custody and Settlements apps; responsible for incident/outage management, problem/change management, application onboarding guidelines, and driving stability improvements across multiple development teams. Requires leadership experience, deep knowledge of cloud-native architectures, SRE practices, observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, Grafana, GCO), and hands-on SQL/RDBMS skills; preferred background in digital assets, blockchain concepts, distributed ledgers, and crypto-currency technologies. Hybrid work arrangement in Belfast, UK. Education: Bachelor’s degree with Master’s preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Master’s degree preferred
- Experience leading large development/support teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with incident/outage management and ITIL processes
- Experience with cloud-native environments and microservices
- Proficiency in SQL Server, Oracle or other RDBMS
- Experience with OpenShift and distributed technology
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools (OpenTelemetry, Grafana, GCO)
- Leadership and team development capabilities
- Interest in AI tools and continuous learning
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
