Job Summary
Manage custody tax operations including RAS, Quick Refund, and Standard refund processes while overseeing the full customer on-boarding lifecycle and periodic KYC tasks. Execute due diligence for sub-custodians and suppliers, maintain up-to-date internal and external account and product information, and lead new product development projects. Perform daily reconciliation, controls, monitoring, and brokerage middle office tasks alongside statistical analysis and reporting. Review legal documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams on various initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Banking or Business-Related Studies
- minimum 2 years of working experience in custodian banks
- Fluency in English
- Good expression and writing skills in English
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred but obliged to have minimum 2 years of working experience in custodian banks
- Experience in Custody tax operation and product (RAS, Quick Refund, Standard refund etc.), Network, Product Management, Product Design, Treasury Middle Office, Broker/Dealer Middle Office, KYC/Account management
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Good numerical and IT skills
- Expertise in using S.W.I.F.T
- Familiar with SQL
- Familiar with Python
- In-depth knowledge of global custodian industry
- Expertise in at least one of the following global custodian operations areas: Settlement, Corporate Actions or Tax
- Knowledge/Experience in Fund Depositary Services
- Chinese and other languages
- Strong team-working spirit
