Job Summary
Safely supervise and transport people in custody, maintain security during court proceedings, and conduct welfare checks while upholding duty of care. Manage challenging situations calmly and professionally, complete accurate reports and records, and collaborate within a close-knit operational team across courts, prisoner transport, and secure medical escorts. This role offers fully funded Certificate III training, guaranteed hours under an Enterprise Agreement, and structured progression through accredited classifications within Ventia's Justice services.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to complete full-time training (Mon-Fri, 8:30am-4:30pm)
- Willingness to commit to 12 months to complete the Certificate III
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
- Ability to pass pre employment medical, fitness, and background checks
