Job Summary

Client Services Analyst/Associate for JP Morgan’s Securities Services Operations in Tokyo. Serve as the first point of contact for all post-trade activities for Global Custody, including Settlements, Corporate Actions, Tax and Income. Build relationships with clients to understand requirements and proactively identify optimization opportunities. Analyze client transactional data to identify trends, operational risk, and control metrics; present operational data metrics to stakeholders. Drive resolution of client queries by coordinating with internal teams globally and regionally. Provide daily client updates via email and phone, attend client meetings, monitor risk indicators, and ensure alignment of client and firm interests. Requires strong communication, problem-solving, and risk-management capabilities, with a focus on service delivery and client satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or relevant disciplines
  • Professional working proficiency in Japanese and English language
  • Strong focus in client service management, communication and delivery
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
  • Strong problem solving skills including taking the initiative to drive change and enhance controls
  • Must have a control focused agenda, and a thorough grasp of program/project risk.
  • Proactive in identifying and escalating issues
  • Self-starter and ability to learn quickly
