Job Summary
Conduct sweeping, dusting, damp mopping, and vacuuming to maintain daily facility cleanliness. Perform floor extraction, carpet stripping, and waxing while removing trash and recycling. Sanitize restrooms and locker rooms, polish entryway areas, wash windows, and clean desks, walls, furniture, and glass surfaces. Manage snow and ice removal and wash light fixtures. Work in a fast-paced environment lifting up to 50 pounds and performing extensive walking and standing. Positions start August 1 with optional daily pay and full medical, dental, and vision benefits. HES exclusively serves educational institutions across 29 states.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent work history
- Team focused approach requiring ability to work with others and take direction
- Physically demanding fast-paced environment requiring ability to work efficiently with attention to detail
- Reliable transportation
- Background check required
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull
- Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 25 pound on a frequent basis, up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
- Ability to work with various temperatures extreme from hot to cold
- Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks with production and service time frames as established by the company
