Job Summary
Perform cleaning and minor servicing duties at schools, administrative support buildings, and grounds. Clean, dust, mop, and vacuum surfaces; scrub floors, walls, and ceilings; replace lamps and wall-mounted fixtures; make small furniture repairs; mow or trim grass; and perform snow removal as required. Assemble, disassemble, move, or rearrange furniture as needed. Execute all custodial tasks in accordance with standard institutional housekeeping practices while maintaining a safe work environment. Complete any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor. This role may require day or night shift coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of arithmetic, spelling, English, and grammar
- Accuracy in checking and counting
- Basic skills knowledge
- Equivalent to high school diploma
- GED
- Minimum of three months up to and including one year of experience in general institutional housekeeping
- Equivalent combination of training and experience
