Job Summary
Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, extract carpets, strip and wax floors, remove trash, recycle, and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms. Wash windows, clean desks, walls, furniture, doors, glass, counters, chalkboards, whiteboards, blinds, and light fixtures. Perform any additional duties as directed by the custodial supervisor. Maintain the cleanliness and daily upkeep of all assigned areas in Williamson County schools. This physically demanding role requires lifting up to 25 pounds frequently, extensive walking and standing, and working in varying temperatures. A high school degree is preferred, with previous cleaning experience a plus. Pass a federal fingerprint background check and provide reliable transportation. Required Qualifications
- Reliable transportation
- Pass Federal Fingerprint Background Check
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull
- The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis, up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
- Extensive walking and standing for the duration of the shift
- Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks with production and service time frames as established by the company
- Ability to work with various temperatures extreme from hot to cold
- Team focused approach requiring ability to work with others and take direction
- Physically demanding fast-paced environment requiring ability to work efficiently with attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
