Job Summary
Custodian with Bus Driving responsible for cleaning and maintenance of district buildings and bus-transport duties as assigned. Primary function includes cleaning and maintaining campus facilities, operating cleaning equipment, and driving the school bus as required. Essential tasks include cleaning classrooms and restrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, emptying waste receptacles, washing windows, refilling dispensers, reporting vandalism or needed repairs, and participating in performance evaluations. Must hold a High School Diploma or GED and a CDL School Bus Drivers License, with experience in custodial work and knowledge of MSDS, hazardous materials, and safety procedures. Ability to read instructions and maintenance specifications, work with various shifts, and collaborate with supervisors and staff.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- CDL School Bus Drivers License
- Experience in general custodial work
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and read maintenance specifications
- Knowledge of MSDS and hazardous materials
- Knowledge of Right to Know Hazardous Communications Legislation
- Knowledge of Bloodborne Pathogen restrictions
- Ability to work various shifts
- Ability to attend meetings as scheduled by campus director
- Familiarity with safety procedures relating to custodial duties
