CUSTODIAN

Maintain school buildings, sidewalks, and play areas by sweeping, dusting, scrubbing floors, disinfecting restrooms, and washing windows. Remove cafeteria trash daily, keep storage areas orderly, and manage snow and ice removal as needed. Conduct ongoing general upkeep, including checking lighting, making minor repairs, and moving furniture or equipment when directed. Secure the building by opening and closing daily, ensuring all doors and windows are locked, and turning off unnecessary lights. Keep an inventory of supplies, equipment, and fuel, reporting major repairs to the principal. Maintain keys securely and comply with local laws for waste disposal. Remain on premises during school hours and authorized extended hours.
