Job Summary
Custodian for manufacturing facilities responsible for cleaning and maintaining production equipment and floors, ensuring debris-free work areas, proper waste disposal, restroom upkeep, and supporting sustainability efforts. Duties include operating power equipment and hand tools for cleaning, inspecting for safety hazards, reporting issues, assisting with facility setup for meetings/events, and maintaining 5S standards. Requires knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team; High School diploma or equivalent preferred and 1-3 years custodial experience in manufacturing environments.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- 1-3 years custodial or janitorial experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting (Preferred)
- Understanding of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment (High proficiency)
- Familiarity with safety and hazardous materials handling (High proficiency)
- Attention to detail (High proficiency)
- Physical stamina and dexterity (High proficiency)
- Ability to follow procedures and safety protocols (High proficiency)
