Job Summary
Custodian responsible for routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of school building operations and grounds. Plan work schedule according to direction of building administration; develop and maintain cleaning schedules covering floors, boards, wastebaskets, windows, furniture, equipment, and restrooms; open and close the building each school day; safeguard facilities; manage cleaning supplies and inventory; assist visitors and staff within the building; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures
- Display dependability and punctuality
- Exhibit excellent communication with school personnel and public
