Custodian

Custodian role for Van Meter Community School District with an anticipated 2:00–10:00 PM shift and flexible scheduling for events. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing desks, tables, door handles, restrooms, glass, dusting surfaces, mopping floors, carpets, and hard floors, assisting with deep cleaning during breaks, trash removal, snow removal, grounds keeping, delivering supplies, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with the supervisor and team to prioritize tasks. Requires ability to work with a team, oversee work completion, effective communication, flexibility, adherence to instructions, and multitasking. Minimum starting pay is $20/hour. Benefits include comprehensive package with a monthly cash stipend option in lieu of insurance, 15 sick days, 2 personal days, and paid vacation.
