Job Summary
Custodian-Trash Technician at a logistics facility in Memphis, TN. Responsibilities include general cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, and outside areas; heavy lifting and walking long distances; trash removal, cardboard removal, moving and stacking pallets, floor cleaning, and forklift operation. Shifts are four 10-hour blocks (days and nights) with a rotating schedule (Sunday-Wednesday, Wednesday-Saturday, Friday-Monday). Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, wear composite toe shoes, and have reliable transportation. Wage is $15.50 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a janitor, custodian, cleaner or housekeeping position preferred
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
- Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
- Must have reliable transportation
