Job Summary
Collect corrugated cardboard from packing areas, empty recycling bins and balers, and transport materials using pallet jacks or carts. Operate or feed cardboard balers if authorized, while maintaining recycling zones and cleaning around workstations. Perform general janitorial duties including restroom and break room cleaning, yard maintenance, and floor cleaning. Respond to spills and debris hazards, replace trash liners, and follow safety procedures with required PPE. This physically demanding role involves miles of daily walking and frequent lifting over 50 lbs. Shifts run Monday through Sunday in various rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
- Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
- Must have reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a janitor, custodian, cleaner or housekeeping position preferred
