Job Summary
Perform general janitorial duties including emptying trash, cleaning restrooms and break rooms, and maintaining yard areas. Remove and bale cardboard, move and stack pallets, and operate forklifts to transport materials. Collect corrugated cardboard from work areas, empty recycling bins and balers, and keep recycling zones clean and hazard-free. Respond to spills or debris that create safety risks and replace trash liners while following Amazon safety procedures and wearing required PPE. This physically demanding role requires frequent lifting over 50 lbs and reliable transportation. Shifts run Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Sunday between 6 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., with composite safety shoes mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
- Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
- Must have reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a janitor, custodian, cleaner or housekeeping position preferred
