Job Summary
Maintain the overall condition of the Corps facility by cleaning floors, restrooms, windows, and common areas, including stripping, sealing, finishing, and carpet care. Clear trash, haul items, and set up spaces for meetings and events while keeping walkways, parking areas, and entrances clear of snow and debris. Identify maintenance needs and minor repair issues to report to the Corps Officer, and recommend supply and service requirements to keep the building running smoothly. This role requires sustained physical activity with lifting up to 50 pounds routinely and occasional lifting up to 100 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and follow through consistently without close supervision
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment, tools, and their proper use and upkeep
- Ability to identify maintenance needs and minor repair issues throughout the building
- Sustained physical activity throughout the workday
- On your feet the majority of the time
