Custodian

The Custodian, based at the Weslaco AgriLife Center, performs daily cleaning tasks: sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors; dust furniture and counters; clean windows; disinfect restrooms, breakrooms, and shared spaces; restock soap, paper towels, and other supplies; assist with setup of tables and chairs for meetings or events; remove trash from offices, kitchens, restrooms, and common areas; replenish supplies, clean/polish metal hardware, shampoo carpets, move furniture, and mix cleaning chemicals; repair minor damages on equipment and report major damage. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills. This is an hourly paid position at an employer-wide program (Texas A&M AgriLife).
