Job Summary
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained school environment through daily cleaning and routine maintenance of assigned areas. Complete scheduled custodial duties and assist with building setup, cleanup, and securing the facility before and after school events and activities. Perform maintenance projects and other duties as assigned by the Buildings and Grounds Director to ensure school facilities are clean, functional, and welcoming. Work six hours a day with some benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Good health
- Good attendance record
- Must be able to complete a background check
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work successfully with students, teachers, administrators, and school staff
- Able to routinely lift and move heavy objects weighing at least 40 pounds
- Able to occasionally lift/carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 70 pounds
