Job Summary
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors in offices, cafeterias, sales floors, and restrooms while stripping, waxing, and performing wet floor care. Restock supplies, empty wastebaskets, replace liners, and refill restroom dispensers as needed. Spot clean soiled areas, sanitize toilets and basins, and manage trash and recycling. Operate scrubbers, extractors, and buffers safely while adhering to all safety guidelines and company policies. Work independently in a fast-paced environment, lifting up to 50 pounds and performing repetitive physical activities. Perform duties according to the 4am to 9am schedule, Monday through Saturday.
Required Qualifications
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Performing repetitive physical activities such as bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, squatting, pushing, and pulling on a regular basis
- Operating small power tools safely and effectively
- Stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning, and reaching in areas that may not be fully air-conditioned
- Standing and walking for extended periods, including climbing stairs and ladders
- Working independently and effectively in a fast-paced or stressful environment
- Performing assignments according to company schedule and as expected by customer
- Performing all general required tasks as directed by Lead Custodian or Management
- Follows all company policies and procedures regarding safety, customer service and proper attire
