Job Summary
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors while disinfecting soiled areas and sanitizing restrooms, basins, and urinals. Strip and wax floors using scrubbers, extractors, and buffers, then refill restroom dispensers and replace wastebasket liners. Take out trash and recycling, restock supplies, and perform spot cleaning on sales floors, cafeterias, and offices as assigned. Operate small power tools safely and follow all safety guidelines, policies, and proper attire requirements. Lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical activities including bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs. Work independently in a fast-paced environment during the first shift, reporting to Edgar Quiroz.
Required Qualifications
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Performing repetitive physical activities such as bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, squatting, pushing, and pulling on a regular basis
- Operating small power tools safely and effectively
- Stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning, and reaching in areas that may not be fully air-conditioned
- Standing and walking for extended periods, including climbing stairs and ladders
- Working independently and effectively in a fast-paced or stressful environment
- Performing all tasks within proper safety guidelines
- Follows all company policies and procedures regarding safety, customer service and proper attire
- Performing assignments according to company schedule and as expected by customer
- Performs all general required tasks as directed by Lead Custodian or Management
- Must be flexible
