Job Summary
Custodian for Speedway Schools; performs custodial support for school activities. RESPONSIBILITIES include routine custodial duties in all areas of the building, responding to spills/accidents, cleaning light fixtures and bulbs, anticipating supply needs, maintaining custodial closets, assisting maintenance personnel, and performing related tasks as assigned. May be on call for routine or emergency duties; in daytime shifts, snow removal from exterior entry areas and sidewalks; spread sand/salt to prevent slipping; operate cleaning equipment; manual labor such as loading/unloading/lifting/moving materials; promote a harassment- and discrimination-free environment; work independently with minimal supervision and show good judgment. 260-day contract, 8 hours per day, with benefits and on-call requirements.

- Maintain a neat and professional appearance
- Communicate regularly with Head Custodian and/or Director of Facilities
- Demonstrate the ability to work as a member of a team
- Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
