Job Summary
Perform routine and preventive maintenance and repair procedures on buildings, mechanical equipment, and utility systems. Sweep and mop all floors, vacuum carpets, dust surfaces, and empty trash receptacles and biohazard containers. Clean and disinfect bathrooms, countertops, appliances, and glass throughout the facility, ensuring MSDS sheets remain current. Assist in monthly buffing, semi-annual stripping and waxing of VCT floors, and annual window cleaning. Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and webinars. Requires a high school diploma, valid Louisiana driver's license, and ability to read simple instructions and perform basic math. Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, climbing, and stooping while working with cleaning solutions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Must have ability to apply common understanding to carry out written or oral instructions
- Valid Louisiana Driver's License
