Job Summary
Conduct regular and recurring cleaning maintenance of assigned District facilities to ensure buildings remain safe, clean, and ready for operations. Provide supervision to community service volunteers when assigned. Maintain knowledge of custodial procedures, mechanical systems, and minor construction repairs while performing safe disposal of hazardous chemicals. Operate industrial cleaning equipment and appliances according to safety standards. Deliver superior customer service and professionally handle complaints. Work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. This role is part-time with a salary of $16.40 to $20.90 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eighteen (18) years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent

Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as custodian, janitor, or building maintenance
- knowledge of custodial procedures, mechanical and building systems, carpentry work, and the ability to perform minor construction and make repairs
- knowledge of safe use, maintenance, and storage of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
- superior customer service and the ability to handle customer complaints in a professional manner
- Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components
