Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive cleaning duties throughout the Sideling Hill Travel Plaza, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and buffing floors; cleaning toilets, walls, windows, worktables, and refrigerators; removing trash to designated areas; and maintaining a clean lobby and dining space. Utilize appropriate chemicals, tools, and equipment while transferring supplies between storage and work areas by hand or hand truck. Load and unload supply trucks and adhere to all security, sanitation, and safety procedures. Frequently immerse hands in water and diluted chemical solutions while demonstrating friendly interaction with the public and coworkers. Work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, requiring the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds with consistent attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Able to stand and walk for an extended period of time.
- Frequently bend, twist, lift and carry at least 40 pounds.
- Available to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Desired Qualifications
- Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
