Job Summary
Conduct daily cleaning and maintenance duties in the Continuing Care Community using floor and carpet maintenance equipment. Operate commercial cleaning machines and adhere to housekeeping, safety regulations, and guidelines while working independently. Maintain courtesy and cooperation with residents and staff throughout the Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm shift. This role supports Seabury's mission to revolutionize the experience of aging within a premier not-for-profit Life Plan Community offering a continuum of care from independent living to skilled nursing.
Required Qualifications
- at least 6+ months experience in a similar position working with commercial cleaning machines and equipment
- Ability to read, speak and understand the English language clearly
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of housekeeping and maintenance procedures, practices, safety regulations and guidelines
- Working knowledge of floor and carpet maintenance equipment
- Able to stand, walk, bend, lift, or push for majority of the day in order to perform functions
