Job Summary
Maintain and clean school buildings and grounds in Scarsdale Public Schools; perform general maintenance and semi-skilled repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical); operate cleaning equipment (brooms, mops, vacuums, floor machines); handle snow removal and grounds upkeep; assist with deliveries and supply storage; adhere to safety and chemical hygiene procedures; coordinate work with the Head/Director of Facilities and staff; ensure a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for students and staff.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license or ability to provide own transportation
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to perform semi-skilled plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs
