Job Summary
Conduct janitorial duties and maintain daily upkeep of assigned areas, including operating motorized cleaning equipment and managing hazardous waste through collection, sorting, and recycling. Report incidents and hazardous conditions to the supervisor while complying with safety rules and using proper personal protective equipment. Fill in during staff shortages, support shift leads with punch-list items, and communicate professionally with team members, customers, and management. Requires a valid driver's license and forklift certification; bilingual ability is a plus. Schedule includes Saturday and Sunday shifts from 5:00pm to 5:00am at $15.00-$16.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Completed all safety and task training certification
- Forklift certified
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- 3-6 months training or experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bilingual
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
