Job Summary
Perform janitorial duties, including operating motorized cleaning equipment and maintaining daily upkeep of assigned areas. Collect, classify, sort, store, ship, receive, label, clean, recycle, and package special and hazardous waste. Report incidents and hazardous conditions to the supervisor, stop at-risk behavior, and fill in during staff shortages. Support the shift lead in completing punch-list items while using proper personal protective equipment. Maintain a professional appearance, conduct, and communication with customers and team members.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Completed all safety and task training certification
- May be required to be forklift certified
Desired Qualifications
- 3-6 months training or experience
- Bilingual
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
