Job Summary
Perform janitorial duties, hazardous waste management, and operate motorized cleaning equipment for assigned areas. Maintain daily upkeep, report incidents, and comply with safety rules while working in a team. Fill in during staff shortages, support shift leads, and use proper personal protective equipment. Requires a valid driver's license, safety training, and forklift certification; bilingual ability is a plus. Shifts run Monday through Friday from 4:30 PM to 1 AM with hourly pay between $16 and $17.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Completed all safety and task training certification
- May be required to be forklift certified
Desired Qualifications
- 3-6 months training or experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bilingual
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
