Job Summary
Conduct janitorial duties, including cleaning assigned areas, operating motorized equipment, and managing hazardous waste through collection, sorting, labeling, and recycling. Maintain daily upkeep of the work zone, report incidents and hazardous conditions to the supervisor, and stop unsafe behaviors for self and others. Perform repetitive tasks, fill in during staff shortages, and support the shift lead in completing punch-list items while using proper personal protective equipment. Work Monday through Friday from 3pm to 11:30pm at $18–$19 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Completed all safety and task training certification
- May be required to be forklift certified
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
- Must be able to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Must be able to talk or listen
- Must be bilingual a plus
Desired Qualifications
- 3-6 months training or experience preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
- Willing to share knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment with team
