Job Summary
Conduct janitorial duties, including hazardous waste collection, classification, sorting, and recycling. Operate motorized cleaning equipment and maintain daily upkeep of assigned areas while reporting incidents to the supervisor. Perform repetitive tasks, fill in during staff shortages, and support shift leads with punch-list items. Use proper personal protective equipment and comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures. Maintain a professional appearance and communicate effectively with team members, leads, supervisors, managers, and customers.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Completed all safety and task training certification
- May be required to be forklift certified
Desired Qualifications
- 3-6 months training or experience
- Bilingual
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
