Custodian

Custodian responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned. Responsibilities include performing janitorial duties, following the daily schedule, handling hazardous waste with tasks such as collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, and packaging of special waste, operating motorized cleaning equipment, reporting incidents and hazardous conditions, complying with safety rules, working in a team, completing punch-list items, using PPE, presenting a professional appearance and conduct, understanding customer service and reporting systems, and maintaining equipment and knowledge of cleaning methods and chemicals. Requires ability to read instructions and communicate effectively; may require a valid driver’s license and forklift certification; bilingual ability is a plus.
