Job Summary
Custodian role involving general custodial and light groundskeeping duties in school facilities, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, windows and fixtures, dusting desks, emptying trash, outdoor debris removal, snow/de-icing when needed, replacing bulbs, and requisitioning cleaning supplies. May assist with moving furniture, basic maintenance on appliances, and opening/locking buildings. Requires ability to operate janitorial equipment, follow instructions, and communicate effectively in standard English. Requires physical capability for medium work and to handle cleaning tasks and minor maintenance as duties arise. Reports to the Principal.
Required Qualifications
- Some experience in custodial work; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
