Job Summary
Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitization of restrooms, locker rooms, showers, and waste areas, while inspecting and detailing windows, baseboards, walls, and handrails to remove handprints, scuff marks, and dust. Dust all air vents, TVs, signage, storage doors, and light fixtures, then vacuum, scrub, and mop gym floors and auxiliary rooms using floor scrubbers and vacuums. Assist in front desk operations including Point of Sale use, organize storage rooms, and notify management when cleaning supplies require replenishment. Communicate with members to maintain a high level of service while ensuring all surfaces remain free of debris.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality skills
- Great communication skills with internal and external customers
- Must be team oriented, motivated, and well organized
- Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions to problems proactively
- Must frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally lift and move objects up to 75 pounds
