Job Summary
Maintain district facilities by cleaning floors, chalkboards, windows, furniture, equipment, and restrooms while keeping sidewalks, driveways, and play areas neat. Perform preventive maintenance, make minor building repairs, and regulate HVAC systems to ensure comfort and economical usage. Assist with lunchroom setup, move furniture, and support special events. Open and close the building daily, checking exit doors and panic bolts, while inspecting machines for safety and correcting unsafe conditions promptly. Operate tools including buffers, vacuums, drills, lawn mowers, and weed eaters. Handle heavy lifting up to 45 pounds and work inside or outside in varying temperatures. Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures
- Knowledge of minor repair techniques and building and grounds maintenance
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment
- Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies
- Ability to lift 45 pounds and over on a daily basis
