Job Summary
Clean, dust, and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, or vacuum floors; empty and clean wastebaskets, trash containers, and cigarette urns. Clean and sanitize restrooms and bathrooms using established practices, refill dispensers, and assist with setup for meetings, classrooms, conferences, and events. Wash accessible interior and exterior windows and clean blinds. Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Work onsite in an office environment or at a customer's location, such as a commissary, federal courthouse, or military base. Valid driver's license required.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to utilize a wide array of custodial chemicals; general cleaning chemicals
- Ability to safely operate custodial equipment (vacuum, backpack vacuum, cardboard bailer)
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to follow instructions
- Computer literacy to use business software, the Internet, enter data/retrieve data
- Human relations skills to build effective working relationships
- Valid Driver's License
