Job Summary
Custodian at Hy-Vee responsible for prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service and total store cleanliness and appearance. Core duties include sweeping, mopping, waxing, buffing, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, sanitizing, changing lights, monitoring plumbing/fixtures, restocking towel/paper/soap dispensers, emptying garbage, assisting customers, and conducting quarterly inventory. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate cleaning equipment; reports to store leadership. Pre-employment drug screen required; starting wage $13.00 to $16.25 per hour.
